Terms of Service
Propo helps freelancers price their work and win better clients.
Propo (propoapp.io) is a web-based tool for independent professionals. It generates market-rate pricing estimates, creates polished client proposals, and helps you evaluate potential clients for red flags — all in one place.
Propo is a tool to help you work more efficiently. It is not a staffing agency, recruiter, legal firm, financial advisor, or guarantee of business success.
By using Propo, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Propo. By creating an account, starting a free plan, subscribing, or using any feature of Propo, you agree to be bound by them.
If you don't agree to these Terms, don't use Propo.
If you use Propo on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You're responsible for your account and the activity in it.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Propo. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and current.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us at support@propoapp.io right away.
We may suspend or close accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or are used for fraudulent or abusive activity.
Propo offers a free plan and two paid plans.
The free plan gives you limited access to try Propo's core features. Paid plans unlock everything:
- Monthly: $39.95 per month
- Annual: $399.95 per year (billed once, saves you about $80)
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the interval you selected. You won't be surprised by a price change — we'll give you advance notice before any pricing update takes effect.
Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Cancel anytime. Your access continues until the period ends.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings under Manage Subscription.
When you cancel, future billing stops immediately.
You keep full access until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
After that period ends, your account reverts to the free plan.
Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. See the Refund Policy below.
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable.
Because Propo delivers digital access immediately upon payment, we don't offer refunds for subscription fees already charged — including partial months, unused features, or periods of inactivity.
We will issue a refund if:
- You were charged due to a clear billing error on our part.
- Applicable law requires it in your jurisdiction.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, email billing@propoapp.io within 14 days of the charge with your account email and a description of the issue. We'll respond within 3 business days.
We may issue credits or exceptions at our discretion, but doing so once doesn't set a precedent or obligate us to do it again.
Use Propo for legitimate freelance and business work.
Propo is built for freelancers, consultants, and independent professionals who want to price their work fairly, create professional proposals, and protect themselves from bad clients.
You agree to use Propo only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn't harm others or interfere with the platform. If your use causes legal, security, or operational problems, we may restrict or close your account.
A few things you can't do.
You agree not to:
- Use Propo for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activity.
- Submit false, misleading, or deceptive information.
- Attempt to hack, scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy Propo's software, workflows, prompts, or systems.
- Resell, redistribute, or repackage Propo's tools or generated content as your own product.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or defraud anyone using the platform.
- Share your account credentials or let others use your subscription.
- Use Propo to generate spam, malware, or fraudulent materials.
- Attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
AI outputs are a starting point, not a final answer.
Propo uses OpenAI's API to generate proposal content, rate estimates, and client risk assessments. These outputs are informational tools — they are not legal advice, financial advice, or professional consulting.
AI can make mistakes. It can miss context, produce outdated information, or generate language that isn't appropriate for your specific situation. Always review and edit AI-generated content before using it.
You are solely responsible for any proposal you send, any rate you set, and any business decision you make based on Propo's outputs.
Propo doesn't guarantee that any rate estimate is accurate, that any proposal language is legally enforceable, or that Scam Shield will catch every red flag. Use your judgment.
You own your work. We own the platform.
Propo and its licensors own all rights to the platform, software, branding, templates, workflows, and proprietary systems. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Propo except as expressly permitted.
You own the inputs you provide and the proposals you create. By using Propo, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to deliver the service to you — nothing more.
Propo is provided “as is” — we don't make promises we can't keep.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Propo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that Propo will be available 24/7, error-free, or that any output will be accurate or suitable for your needs.
We specifically don't guarantee that using Propo will land you clients, earn you a certain income, prevent scope creep, or produce any specific business outcome. Those results depend on you.
Our liability is capped. Here's what that means.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Propo won't be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost income, lost clients, missed opportunities, data loss, or reliance on AI-generated content.
Our total liability for any claim won't exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid Propo in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100.
Some jurisdictions don't allow limitations on certain warranties or liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Let's try to work things out first.
If you have a dispute with Propo, please reach out to hello@propoapp.io before taking any formal action. We'll make a genuine effort to resolve it within 30 days.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles. You and Propo agree to resolve any disputes on an individual basis — not as part of a class action.
We'll let you know if anything important changes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last Updated” date above and may notify you by email or in-app notice.
Continued use of Propo after updated Terms take effect means you accept the changes. If you don't agree with a change, stop using Propo and cancel your subscription before it takes effect.
